Our cyber-safety workshop for senior citizens is hosted by local cyber security awareness and culture expert Caitriona Forde from West Coast Cyber. 

This workshop will help seniors identify and prevent scams online and is ideal for people with minimal technology experience or awareness of cyber risks.  

Topics covered in this session:   

• Some of the most common scams facing Australians and the techniques criminals use to social engineer their victims.  

• A hands-on security check on attendee’s devices 

• A walk-through on how to set up multifactor authentication. 

The presentation will run for one hour, followed by a morning tea of scones.
